94 point - Christy Canterbury, TimAtkin.com: "A laser-like Valmur with fervent structural vigor, this dazzles with yellow currant, grapefruit and white peppercorn. This comes from a 50-year-old parcel that faces northwest. Romain ferments this in older oak to help build the mid-palate. With time, this will be spectacular and entirely worth the wait."

91-94 point - Inside Burgundy: "Still in barrel, to be racked and assembled at the harvest and bottled next spring. Fresh mid yellow colour. Here the oak shows in the form of coconut. Quite a block of flavour, then lactic notes from the barrel, behind which the fruit reasserts itself. Not yet all in harmony, but I think this will come together, such is the volume of fruit. Drink from 2025-2030." 

91-94 point - Allen Meadows i Burghound: "Moderate wood influence stops just short of fighting with the aromas of green fruit, citrus, iodine and shellfish. As is typically the case there is better volume to the powerful big -bodied flavors that are blessed with ample dry extract that also serves to buffer the firm lemon-tinged acidity supporting the more complex, balanced and muscular finale. This is a little woody at present but should be able to integrate the oak with a few years of bottle aging."
