This is a killer vintage from this Yakima Valley based estate and he's made one of the Cabernet Sauvignons of the vintage, probably the best Cabernet Franc I've ever tasted from Washington, and an insanely good Syrah that reminds me of Guigal's famed Côte Rôties. Jeb Dunnuck: "From another great vintage for Washington State, the Bordeaux look-alike 2016 Mystique is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc that’s all from the estate vineyard on the western edge of the Yakima Valley. Its deep ruby color is followed by a spicy, savory, herbal, yet textured and full-bodied red that has loads of red and black fruits, some spicy oak, and a clean, dry finish. It’s already impossible to resist yet should keep for 7-8 years.

I 1996 fandt Scott 76 hektar jord liggende på en bakketop i Colombia Valley i Washington. Dengang indså han, at en 17 års karriere i den finansielle verden var historie.
