89-92 point - Burghound: "A perfumed and exceptionally pretty nose is comprised by notes of both red and dark pinot fruit, anise, clove, and a hint of sandalwood. The delicious middleweight flavors are not especially dense but they do display excellent intensity and a lovely texture before culminating in a firm, serious and even robust finale. This is a very fine Vosne villages that will also need at least some cellaring." 

89-91 point - Inside Burgundy: "Is it fanciful to find violets on the nose? Another fine fresh purple colour, with plentiful fruit through the middle, then some slightly dry wood tannins, after which the fruit returns. Good, but I am getting a little more out of the Chambolles today. Drink from 2028-2033."
